Plans for a new IBM ThinkPad with a rotating screen that enables it to function as a tablet computer have been filed with the U.S. FCC by IBM's Yamato Lab in Japan. The system has a digitizer that allows the included stylus to be used as an input
device when the computer is being operated in tablet mode, according to documents filed by IBM with the FCC. The X41 Tablet Series will support wireless communications as well, according to documents released by the FCC.
