Before agreeing to submit to any polygraph test, those interested in these positions would do well to do a little research on this pseudoscientific procedure. Polygraph "testing" has no grounding in the scientific method and results in a good many false accusations of deception. For further information, see AntiPolygraph.org, a non-profit, public interest website dedicated to exposing and ending waste, fraud, and abuse associated with the use of polygraphs:
