SpiritWave ESB Server Version 6.0 Features Global Clustering Technology for 24/7 Message Delivery

(June 13, 2003) - SpiritSoft's new SpiritWave ESB Server version 6.0 has just been released, with Global Clustering technology, non-blocking input/output (NIO), and JMX (Java Management Extensions). Enterprises deployed with SpiritWave now experience 24/7 message delivery with no client down time, extreme scalability, ease of use, and no interrupted message flow during maintenance.

SpiritWave ESB Server is the industry’s most scalable Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) leveraging JMS and Web services standards to support enterprise application integration. The advanced Global Clustering technology of SpiritWave 6.0 delivers scalability, high performance, fault tolerance, and automated cluster recovery to heterogenous global messaging networks. It is also J2EE 1.4 compatible.

SpiritWave ESB Server supports non-blocking input/output for extreme scaling to large numbers of clients from a single daemon or across a cluster. This feature optionally utilizes the J2SE 1.4 NIO facilities, and reduces hardware costs of supporting large numbers of clients.

SpiritWave ESB Server is built around JMX for enterprise management, auditing, and control. Using JMX, SpiritWave users have access to global infrastructure monitoring and alerting capabilities that plug into industry standard management systems. Users can control networks of clusters from single or multiple access points (local or remote). A Web-based management console uses SpiritWave’s embedded Tomcat server.

A single and multiple daemon evaluation version of SpiritWave is available for download.
