India's Largest Private Sector Bank Standardizes Its Enterprise Java Apps on Pramati Server Platform

(April 16, 2003) - Pramati Technologies has entered into an enterprise license deal with ICICI Bank, India's largest private sector bank. The agreement is for three years, during which ICICI Bank can deploy Pramati Server software as its preferred application infrastructure across multiple hardware and software platforms. Pramati will also provide enterprise support and consulting services.

The agreement gives ICICI Bank access to the latest versions of the server software, allowing the bank to put a cap on its expenditure for application infrastructure software license fee, but without compromising on technology obsolescence.

Pramati has recently extended its support for Web services and mobile application development on the J2ME platform.
