Parasoft Launches Suite of Enterprise Solutions

(March 27, 2003) - Parasoft has just unveiled the Parasoft Enterprise Solutions suite, integrating industry-leading tools and best practices to enable organizations to use information gained from software testing, monitoring, and measurement to significantly improve software quality, and prevent errors.

Poor software quality costs US businesses $60 billion annually, according to the National Institute for Software Testing. Despite well-publicized efforts by software providers and institutions to deliver methods that address software quality, the problem persists.

"Software errors are tolerated and even expected," said Parasoft CEO, Dr. Adam Kolawa. "But every day, our business systems-and even our consumer products-rely more and more on software to function. If faulty software causes those systems and products to fail, the economic impact can be huge. Rather than accepting the costs and repercussions of faulty software companies need to approach it like any other business problem and determine a way of preventing it from happening again."

Parasoft Enterprise Solutions provide a practical means for implementing the Automated Error Prevention methodology, a unique approach to software development that uses the information gained from software testing, measurement, and monitoring to progressively improve the development process.

Parasoft Enterprise Solutions plug into any Java, C/C++, Web or Web services software lifecycle. Parasoft's professional services organization will integrate these complete solutions into a company's environment to help them achieve immediate benefits from Automated Error Prevention. The Parasoft Enterprise Solutions suite includes:

  • Parasoft Web Services Solution
  • Parasoft Web Application Solution
  • Parasoft Java Solution
  • Parasoft C/C++ Solution
  • Parasoft Database Solution
