Seen First at Web Services Edge East: LISA Software Cracks the Automated Testing Paradigm

(March 20, 2003) - At Web Services Edge East in Boston this week, iTKO demonstrated a new breed of automated testing software - one that people can actually use. Her name is LISA. The problem with automated testing is that current tools on the market are too expensive, too complicated, too time consuming, and unable to integrate or change quickly enough. LISA fixes all of this. Starting as low as $59 per developer, LISA is one product that can be used by virtually everyone in an organization, not just a chosen few. LISA allows business analysts with a minimum amount of training to test middle-tier and back-end services. Even those with no programming experience can test and exercise web, EJB, web services and more. LISA can also learn how to test custom application frameworks. Developers can create regression test cases while building applications that can form a combined suite of regression tests to run automatically at build time. These same test cases can even be used as load tests by the QA department. Plus, LISA supports unit, regression, and load testing; Windows, OSX, Linux, and Solaris; plus Web sites, Web services, and Enterprise Java. A downloadable pre-release version of LISA is now available for a free 30-day trial at www.itko.com/lisa. LISA will be on tour, starting with the live demonstrations at Web Services Edge 2003 East in Boston on March 18-20, booth #609. Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1
