Oracle Invites Java Developers to Contribute to the Oracle9i JDeveloper Extensions Exchange

(June 14, 2002) - Java developers using the Oracle9i JDeveloper Extension SDK to extend and customize Oracle's award-winning J2EE and Web services Integrated Development Environment (IDE) can now share their extension code via the Oracle9i JDeveloper Extension Exchange on Oracle Technology Network (OTN). Over forty extensions are available, covering a variety of areas including J2ME development, integration with HTML/JSP custom editors and AntManager for running Ant scripts from within Oracle9i JDeveloper. The Oracle9i JDeveloper Extension SDK is a public, standards-based Application Programming Interface (API) that lets developers integrate third-party and open source tools with Oracle9i JDeveloper to extend and customize Oracle's core IDE.
