Nazomi and Insignia Align to Assure Greater Interoperability Between Java Hardware Acceleration and Java Virtual Machine Solutions
SANTA CLARA, Calif.- (October 21, 2001) - Nazomi Communications Inc. today announced it signed a technology interoperability agreement with Insignia Solutions to more tightly link the two companies' complementary Java technology solutions. The agreement enables vendors developing Internet Appliances and wireless phones to deploy Insignia's Jeode technology for Java software bytecode acceleration, and Nazomi's JSTAR, Java hardware-based accelerator technology, thereby delivering significant Java performance for end-user applications.
