Linoma Software Releases New Version of its Secure File Server

Linoma Software has announced it will launch a new version of its application, GoAnywhere Services, which works with Microsoft Server 2012 to offer customers enhanced security, as well as innovative user interface features and reliability improvements. The secure file server in GoAnywhere Services covers more than just secure file portals. Data security professionals can breathe easily when their employees use the secure mail send option in Outlook 2010 to send files securely using GoAnywhere Services. The FIPS140-2 mode also ensures government and other organizations requiring high-security that their files are secure and encrypted.

“Our ISV community is alive with innovation, and we’re committed to helping our partners drive the next generation of software experiences,” said Ross Brown, Vice President of ISV and Solutions Partners for the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft. “Adding compatibility for the latest Microsoft technologies helps ISVs to stay ahead of the competition and give their customers access to cutting-edge technologies.”

“Linoma Software is excited to launch this new version of GoAnywhere Services,” said Bob Luebbe, Chief Software Architect at Linoma Software. “Making our application compatible with Microsoft Server 2012 helps us offer our customers compelling benefits, including: improved security and reliability features, tools to keep them securely connected to data stored on their networks and sophisticated management features.”

The new version of GoAnywhere Services 3.0.0, with its virtual file and folder options, API controls and Web User invitation options makes secure file transfer easier for end users and Windows Server 2012 administrators. GoAnywhere Services earned the “Certified for Windows Server 2012” after successfully passing a number of tests in a Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V environment for stability, security and proper operation in a virtualized Windows Server 2012 environment.

Founded in 1994, Linoma Software provides innovative technologies for protecting sensitive data and automating data movement. Linoma Software has a diverse install base of over 3,000 customers around the world including Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations and government entities.
