As much as information technology has changed in the last 10 years, the next decade promises even more significant change. As cloud technology becomes more prevalent, IT enterprises will be driven to reconsider the status quo around just about everything we know, and ask "what if?" when it comes to transforming their enterprise IT systems.
In his general session at Cloud Expo Silicon Valley, Sam Gross, Vice President of Global IT Outsourcing Solutions at Unisys Corporation, showed how to address the right questions and envision how you can move from where you are today, to where you need to be tomorrow, leveraging cloud's capabilities.
Trends show clear benefits to moving to the cloud, but you also need to manage risk, ensure security, and manage your investment at your own pace. Gross discussed the steps you can take to build the cloud that's right for you - whether it's public, private or a hybrid solution - and move your mission-critical apps to a new generation of enterprise information systems.
