When HP OpenView TeMIP detects a problem, it generates an alarm and notifies administrators immediately via a page or SMS (short message service). HP OpenView TeMIP can notify administrators with alarm notification 24 hours a day, seven days a week, no matter where they are.

With HP OpenView OSS solutions as key building blocks, HP ISM provides carriers and operators with a comprehensive, highly adaptive framework that enables them to manage their networks and services effectively, improve mediation and billing, and assure quality of service for customers.

HP enhanced the HP OpenView OSS portfolio with value packs that incorporate pre-defined features to help service providers reduce cost and risk in their operations department — and increase functionality.

HP also upgraded specific solutions in the HP OpenView OSS portfolio with new tools and improved workflow features that can improve productivity in the network operations center (NOC). As part of these upgrades, HP unveiled stronger integration among the many different solutions in the HP OpenView OSS portfolio. Improved integration will enhance operations efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership for the hundreds of service providers that are deploying multiple HP OpenView OSS products.
