Yahoo to Provide ABC, CNN News Clips
New Deals Strengthen Company's Ability

Yahoo has signed agreements with CNN and ABC that will integrate video clips into Yahoo's free on-demand content.  The advertising-supported and continuously updated video will become available to all Yahoo users starting in September. Yahoo News will integrate it throughout its pages so that the clips will appear on its front page, within story pages and as appropriate within full-coverage sections.

It also will be made available to Yahoo's broadband service subscribers through its co-branded relationships with SBC Communications, Rogers Cable, BT and Verizon Communications, although Yahoo!-Verizon DSL packages are not yet available.

ABC News already provides premium video products and ABC News Now to SBC Yahoo's broadband service subscribers. This new agreement will make Yahoo one of the first providers of free on-demand video from ABC News.
