Jun. 24, 2005 04:00 PM
"The Future of Authentication" is the topic for discussion at an RSA Security web seminar on June 29, begining at 2pm eastern time. The company will address threats such as phishing, malware and identity at the organizational level, as well as how enterprise IT can meet these threats while preserving information access by customers, partners, and employees.
This and other topics will then headline RSA Conference 2005 Europe, to be held in Vienna on October 17. RSA says its event "is the most prestigious information security
event of the year" in Europe, and is aimed at organizations that
deploy, develop or investigate data security or cryptography products.
The RSA Conference brings together IT professionals, developers, policy
makers, industry leaders and academics to share information and
exchange ideas on technology trends and best practices in identity
theft, hacking, cyber-terrorism, biometrics, network forensics,
perimeter defense, secure web services, encryption and related topics.
European keynoters include Dame Stella Rimington DCB, former Director General of the UK's MI5. RSA CEO Art Coviello will also keynote, as will executives from Cisco, Versign, and Microsoft.
