Cybertrust Ranks First in Market
Named MSSP Market Leadership Award Winner by Frost & Sullivan

Cybertrust bills itself as a global leader in information security services and enabling technologies, and how has been awarded the Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) Market Leadership Award in Australia by Frost & Sullivan. This report complements Cybertrust’s 2004 Frost & Sullivan Market Leadership Award, which identified Cybertrust as the world’s single largest MSSP.

Announced in Frost & Sullivan Australian Managed Security Services Market (2003-2011), the report revealed that Cybertrust leads the Australian MSS market with 25.5 percent market share – more than 17 percent ahead of its closest competitor. This significant lead is due to Cybertrust's dominance of the Australian government security market as well as the company's leadership in managed authentication and public key infrastructure (PKI) services. Globally, the company's 9.5 percent market share is more than 30 percent larger than its closest competitor.

James Turner, security & services analyst with Frost & Sullivan and author of the MSS market report, said "The Australian market for managed security services is comprised of over 35 companies and Cybertrust is the clear leader. Cybertrust leads the way with government contracts and this looks set to continue as the market for MSS grows in Australia and around the world."

Cybertrust Senior Vice President and Regional General Manager, Asia Pacific, Paul O'Rourke, said the report confirms Cybertrust's credentials as a leader in information security. "Frost & Sullivan's report provides Cybertrust customers with peace of mind that they have made the right choice in a trusted security advisor," said Mr. O'Rourke. "By combining the right mix of people, processes and products, Cybertrust has taken the lead not only in Australia, but around the world."

According to Frost & Sullivan, Cybertrust has a geographic representation that is unmatched by any other MSSP. Large multinational companies whose operations are scattered across the globe will naturally be drawn to Cybertrust based on this presence alone. Additional competitive advantages come from the breadth of services that the company offers - in essence, Cybertrust is the first MSSP that can deliver the expertise of a pure play with the geographic reach of an international systems integrator.
